These models can be used either as a standard reflective umbrella, where it provides a wider, more even spread of light; or as a shoot-through, where you get a harder, more powerful flash. Also, this umbrella is equipped with a 7mm tube that is compatible with Elinchrom's central umbrella tube location. And, it comes with a protective cover.
