The OZEN AGILE 25M Fluid Head with 150mm Two-Stage Aluminum Legs, Mid-Level Spreader & Case is a heavy-duty tripod system that can handle fully built-up digital cinema cameras. The precise and responsive head has nine levels of pan and tilt adjustment (including a zero setting), as well as 16 settings of counterbalance to fine-tune your camera. The aluminum legs are more than strong enough to support your head and camera without approaching the limits of the legs' durability.
The head features balance adjustments and a discrete "build lock" that holds it at zero tilt, so you can assemble your camera and accessories without stressing the tilt brake. The legs feature two locks per leg and a wide height range, and the mid-level spreader offers numerous advantages over a ground spreader. The dual-spike feet are excellent for creating grip when shooting on soft terrain, and the removable rubber feet snap over the foot spikes for working on hard surfaces and in delicate locations.
OZEN 25M E-Z LOAD MAX Fluid Head (150mm)
The OZEN 25M E-Z LOAD MAX Fluid Head from OZEN is a heavy-duty fluid head featuring a wider camera interface for steady support of camera rigs weighing up to 80 lb. This 150mm ball head can be converted to a flat base for a lower-profile, slider, or car rig application. This head's familiar placement of pan, tilt, and counterbalance controls offer ergonomic control, and the 150mm ball base enables fast leveling.
This fluid head features nine steps of pan and tilt drag plus a "0" setting for quick whip pans, 16 steps of counterbalance adjustment, and a built-in illuminated bubble level. Replaceable pan handle rosettes on the left and right side of the head enable you to use both included telescoping handles simultaneously.
150mm Leveling Ball/Flat Base
The 150mm leveling ball makes it quick to level the head on your tripod legs or other platforms, and the convertible flat base provides a lower-profile base for a car rig, scaffolding, or another compatible support.
Counterbalance
A 16-step counterbalance enables you to adjust the head for a variety of camera rigs weighing from 8.8 to 80 lb. A counterbalance system neutralizes the weight of the fluid head so it holds the desired tilt position.
Pan and Tilt Drag
Nine steps and a zero setting enable you to adjust the head for smooth moves, fast or slow. The dampening settings allow you to adjust your setting from shot to shot, while the stepped settings make your drag selections repeatable.
QR Plate and Balance Adjustment
The E-Z LOAD MAX QR plate supports heavier camera rigs, pops in and out of the camera platform, and does not have any sliding balance adjustment. However, the camera platform the plate pops into has 2.36" of back and forth adjustment to aid in balancing your camera on the head. The use of an optional baseplate or VCT system for increased balancing ability is customary with larger cameras.
Dual Pan Bar Rosettes
Removable rosettes on each side of the fluid head allow you to attach the included pan handles for two-handed control. If damaged or stripped, the rosettes can be removed and replaced with new ones.
OZEN Two-Stage Heavy-Duty Aluminum 150mm Tripod with Mid-Level Spreader & Rubber Feet
The OZEN Two-Stage Heavy-Duty Aluminum 150mm Tripod with Mid-Level Spreader & Rubber Feet is well suited for heavy digital cinema, as well as other cameras, for use with OZEN's AGILE 25 fluid heads. The legs can support the weight of the head plus the head's maximum load, with enough wiggle room for comfort so you aren't pushing the limits of your system. The heavy-duty construction creates a stable platform that enables you to operate your head at the highest levels of drag resistance without the legs flexing as you pan and tilt.
The legs utilize rotating lever locks, one for each leg, that allow you to apply the torque necessary to secure your legs against the weight of your fluid head and camera system, preventing the legs from slipping while you operate the camera. The included removable mid-level spreader simplifies moving quickly from camera position to camera position, and it is ideal for use on uneven terrain, as well as flat surfaces. The removable rubber feet provide grip on hard surfaces and can be easily removed for working on soft surfaces such as sand or dirt.
Two-stage legs usually have a wider height range and fold down more compactly than similar single-stage legs.
The legs support 120 pounds of head and accessories, allowing you to mount a heavy-duty fluid head and accessories.
The independent leg spread and height adjustment allow you to use the legs on oddly shaped areas as well as steps.
The mid-level spreader allows the legs to remain stable when on uneven and rocky terrain such as gravel, rocky ground, and steps.
Removable rubber feet protect delicate surfaces from the foot spikes, and the deep rubber tread provides good grip on hard surfaces.
The legs feature spiked feet that provide solid purchase in soft surfaces when not using a spreader.
